Want to clarify one answer will I get the next MS machine, I said yes I meant yes I will look into the next MS machine the RROD did not scare me away. I will look at all the next gen machines and determine which suits my needs best.

If the 720 is Backward compat with the 360 that would be a HUGE incentive for me to pick up the next Xbox if not all bets are off. The reason the 360 sits under my sony tv is cause sony took out BC from there box I have 80 PS2 games so when it came to picking the new console I never had an xbox and the PS3 had no BC so it was wide open. Glad I went with the 360 have been happy with it but we will see what happens next gen

Well i got a friend he got the rrod twice, he left it in got it back, left it in got it back. Managed to trade his xbox Elite for a ps3 40 GB. He doesnt regret his choice and neither do i! Yay more people to play with XD

0 time ( but i get a disk failure instead ) 

2. Did u get rid of your 360 cause of RROD and if so what system did u buy to replace it?

if its the best console for games now why should i get rid of it ? because of RROD !? no i go and fix it .. its have 3 years warranty.

I just got my second RROD, on my Elite, annoyingly enough. Bit of a mixup with UPS means it's still sitting in the box waiting to go. Because I've always had 2 360s in the house, and my sister got a 360 recently, I don't miss out on anything. I've got too many games to just stop playing on 360, the same reason that I accepted the numerous times my PC crashed, or froze up, or glitched. The same reason I accepted my PS2 falling to pieces, my other PS2 needing several repairs, etc.

I do hate when technology doesn't work, but my need to play the games is stronger than my annoyance. :D

1. I've gotten the Red Ring of Death twice now (but on the same console).
2. I replaced it with another 360. I already own a PS3 and a Wii.
3. That depends. Considering I bought every console this generation I wouldn't be surprised if I did the same thing next generation. I don' think MS will let something like RROD come back next generation.
