Forums - Nintendo - Is anybody else having problems with bad losers on Mario Strikers Charged?

I can wait a week, (cue montage of me chasing chickens and punching animal carcasses in preperation for the big match).

Diddy's special also annoys me but not in the way the other's I mentioned do, where I actually think people are exploiting bugs/unintended tactics in the game.

3.5:1 is pretty intimidating. Have you ever topped a weekly league?

Montage

If you do a montage that is your song right there!

no, i don't play that many matches so

it's just that, usually, whatever i play i win

imo, weekly league should exist in ratio's, not how many you played

I agree, I also think that there should be an overall lifetime league as it gets repetitive trying to attain a decent poistion every week from scratch.

From what I read N said that they would match players to others of a similiar skill level but I have yet to see evidence of this, seems to be completely down to luck of the draw.

Its the Montage song from team america, here let me grab you lyrics....

The hours approaching, just give it your best
You've got to reach your prime.
That’s when you need to put yourself to the test,
And show us a passage of time,
We're gonna need a montage (montage)
Oh it takes a montage (montage)

Show a lot of things happing at once,
Remind everyone of what’s going on (what’s going on?)
And with every shot you show a little improvement
To show it all would take to long
That’s called a montage (montage)
Oh we want montage (montage)

And anything that we want to go from just a beginner to a pro,
You need a montage (montage)
Even Rocky had a montage (montage)

(Montage…montage)

Anything that we want to go from just a beginner to a pro,
You need a montage (montage)
Oh it takes a montage (montage)

Always fade out in a montage,
If you fade out, it seem like more time
Has passed in a montage,
Montage

Edit: You really have to hear it to get the full effect...

Buy it and pray to the gods of Sigs: Naznatips!

@ routsounmanman

I can see you running into trouble against somebody who knows how to defend against the Koopa's stun shot.

Also Luigi's intro music is ace.

DVDA (the band not the sexual "position") have a lot of awesome songs, most of which people will know from Team America and South Park since Trey Parker and Matt Stone are members of the band, the other members are Bruce Howell and D. A. Young.

You can check them out on Wikipedia for more info...

I've never been a PC or Xbox guy so online gaming is pretty new to me so I'm cuious to know if this level of a-hole behaviour is to be expected or is this particular game attracting these S.O.Bs in unusually high numbers?

Sounds pretty tame to me.  Halo 2 was the main game I played on Xbox live and it introduced such terms as "ghosting", "stand by", "glitching", and "modding" to my vocabulary.  I think around 80-90% of my games had one of those things happen.  Stand bying and modding were esentially game wreckers that I caused me to stop playing.  For Madden a popular cheat was the simply not do anything, forcing you to forfeit if you actually wanted to try playing someone.  I tried playing Madden but after 4 of the first 5 guys I played pulled that stunt I stopped.  PC online is if anything worse.  I played Call of Duty and Battlefield 2 a lot online but most of the players were more interested in killing the dummy account guy they use to wrack up kills than they were in actually playing.  Many who did play seemed to use aimbots so they had supernatural abilities to kill you.

All in all, I would say count yourself lucky if all they do is quit before the end of the game.  I know it sucks losing a win but at least the game itself wasn't ruined.  The loser cheaters you find on Xbox live and the PC not only rob you of a win but also of any enjoyment playing them game.
