 Correct me if aim wrong but Fallout 3 is on ps3 aswell.

I agree that the PS3 will (probably) not be the best selling console this holiday season, and if he wants to state that it is the "Best" console whether it can be argued or not depends if he is talking from a subjective stand point (his opinion) or from an objective standpoint.

From an Objective standpoint his list is not that great being that two of the games on his list (Bioshock and Metal Gear Solid 4) have been out for quite some time, one of the games (Killzone 2) is not released until 2009, and 3 items (Home, Blu-Ray and PSN videostore) only offer value to the limited portion of the userbase who is interested in them.

We have a game that is a year old, a SRPG, and a game that won't be released for two months as the reasons that the PS3 will "rule" the holiday season? Come on there is better than that. Those three items really need to be thrown out and replaced with something that will sell consoles come this holiday season.

ps3 stronger its looking stronger than 360 to my taste.

and its getting just better in 2009.

360 right now only have gears 2, and in japan Star ocean 4 after that m$ better have first party games comming.

Only thing holding it bk is price (Price cut March/April 09 I think)

and MK vs DC...

A 2009 game saving the 2008 Xmas ... that makes no sense !

Three reasons it won't:

1) Wii Supply to increase by 50%, families don't have to settle for 2nd choices.
2) Similar library on the $200 Xbox 360
3) The world is on the brink of a depression. $400 consoles, $60 games, $40 movies are more unattractive than ever.


Prediction: PS3 will finish in a familiar 3rd place this holiday.
