Forums - Gaming - which mmo game would be buy 1st ? elder scrolls or a new ff ?

i would buy a elder scrolls mmorpg game 1st, because i love the elder scrolls series. oblivion was such a great game and i think the elder scrolls universe would work great in a mmo. i heard a elder scrolls mmo was in the works. also i loved ff11, played it for 3 years. so another one would have my time as well, but i would buy it after i really got into the elder scrolls mmo. whats everyone else's thought's on these 2 possible mmo games?

Around the Network

A new FF. I simply don't get the Elder Scrolls games:

-Their main story is less than 4 hours;
-You get to do extra dungeons after that, but what's the point?

I thought Oblivion was pretty bad, but FF XII was at least enjoyable (if not repetitive). With an MMO, maybe the ES game would have a point though...

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Watch my insane gameplay videos on my YouTube page!

If their not subscription based I'd buy em both.

but preferably an Elder Scrolls MMO

FF is good for stories!

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

I didn't like Oblivion. The draw distances didn't help, but the textures were terrible for a game of this gen. Most of them were blurry. It was better with Quarls Texture pack, but not a lot. Still, I would buy that (if I had to get one) for two reasons:

I don't like the way Final Fantasy has gone, gameplay wise and I tried XI, after about 3 hours of play time I couldn't log in anymore and the only adive I ever got from anyone was "Buy another copy of the game". Basically, I've wasted £30 on a Final Fantasy MMO already and what I played was far from amazing.

I would pick Guild Wars over any other MMO. It has the same gameplay as others, but no subscription. Unless you have a crappy computer which only runs WoW, I see no reason to pay for it's subscription.

i think elder scrolls with all the side quests and places to visit would be perfect for a mmo game, i hope they bring the game out for pc,360 and ps3. so that everyone can enjoy the game, i dont care is its subscrition based or not. i just want a good game to enjoy, and i think $10.00 a month fee would be ok.
