Habs win again, our young players are stepping up with all the injuries, hopefully Price comes back soon.

Well the Nucks beat the Oilers 4-2, no points for Mat Sundin in his first game back. Steve Bernier got 2 goals though

And he just about notched his third there. Unlucky.
Mats Sundin still has some issues to work out. There were a couple times on the Powerplay where he had the puck on the halfboards, and was open but took too long to shoot. Conditioning was a bit of a problem, especially early in the game, when his shifts were like 20 seconds long, but his shifts did hit the 45 second mark by the end of the game.
I am pleased with what I see so far though. I knew he was big and strong, but I didn't realize he was THAT big and strong. He was hard to knock off the puck, and hard to move from in front of the net.
I see him getting into his groove after 6-7 games, when he's back to game condition, and more comfortable with his linemates (Raymond and Wellwood........at least for now.........who knows with AV).
Kaberle is now open to a trade. There will be a lot of teams interested in him......but who has enough cap space?

It's been and continues to be a long season in TB. I just don't get it.. the team looks so good some nights and then the very next game they look completely different. Jeckyll and Hyde syndrome or something to that effect and for the first time since the Cup year it isn't the goaltending.
It's great to know Luongo is feeling better. I hope he's 100% soon, we have to take first from Calgary!
I have mixed feelings about Loungo and the All-Star game.. even if he's feeling 100% I kind of don't want him to go but since it's in his hometown.. ehh, I don't know. I know he'll do what he feels is right though.

Since Sundin signed with the Canucks, i've been following the team more & watched Sundin's first game on the Yahoo stream. I'd like to see more of Sunding playing on the same line with the Sedin twins (not gonna happen much though). Do you know of any sites that stream Canucks games? the only tv channels i get that play hockey are Versus & CSN-Bay Area, which suffice to say don't play Nucks games

Radio streaming is on the Team 1040 website, but video streaming is hard to find.
Searching on the Canucks forum, has got me this website http://sopcast.com/ which apparently has an NHL channel, where you can stream games..........but I've never used it myself, so I don't know if it's safe or not, so try that at your own risk.
Spire. Try atdhe.net
They stream every NHL game, every night. They also stream most other sports. The quality is top notch too.
Shanahan's back to NJ......wouldn't it be something if the Rangers and the Devils met in the playoffs? Not only is there the rivalry, but this whole Shanahan thing too (and Gomez to a lesser extent). And what is it with NJ bringing all the old guys back (Shanahan, Holik, Rolston)?
