Ersberg started off great, and got injured (I don't know if he's back yet), and Quick's gotten off to a great start to his career (2 SO's in like 5-6 games), so maybe they'll run with those 2 for the rest of the season, which will give them a lot of good experience (and benefit them in the long run).

And I'm guessing he'll be sent down to Manitoba as soon as Luongo's back. I don't think he'll take Sanford's job away, at this point. They'll probably give Sanford, Labarbera and Schneider all a shot at it next year though.

Canada vs US was excellent. Americans got off to a 3-0 lead, and I thought it was over. But the boys in red stormed back, and eventually won 7-4. Tavares with the hat-trick. I don't think there's any doubt between who is going to be drafted #1. Hedman hasn't been playing poorly, but Tavares has taken over the tournament.

Anybody else watching the Winter Classic? I tuned in midway through the 2nd, 3-2 for the Blackhawks at that time, but Detroit scored 2 goals to take the lead. That goal by Datsyuk was a thing of beauty.

And Jason Labarbera gets his career in Vancouver off to a great start, winning 2-1. And the only goal that beat him wasn't his fault. However, I'll hold off on judging him right now, because it might have been adrenaline. I'll wait until after he plays his first game in Vancouver.

Yea, the Winter Classic was great. I knew Detroit would come back and win it.

They won't even have the most wins this season.  My Bruins will do that :)

Haha, I loved how the Wings fooled everyone into thinking they were going to lose. They had that game sealed before the puck dropped.

We will see about that. A Sharks-Bruins Cup Final would be awesome

Beliveau's out of the hospital, and it turns out that he'll be at the all star game announcing the all-star lineups. That's going to be cool to watch. I hope Roberto's going to be healthy enough to go. Him playing in front of his home province would be something special.

Matt Sunding is playing his first game tonight, the Vancouver v. Edmonton game is about halway done & tied at 0
