So, Digg's great for publicity and all, but I don't know how I feel about every tab I open saying

"500 Internal Server Error"

I thought we had this under control?  I'd like to digg stories, but I'd rather not if this happens every time we get a surplus of visitors...

Meh, Digg sucks anyways. Either the article is complete crap and generally makes you dumber for reading it or good articles are easily found without going through Digg (Kotaku for instance) and you don't have to deal with fanboys foaming at the mouth saying quite possibly the dumbest comments I've ever seen.

It kills the server every time. People might think they are helping by driving traffic to the site, but in reality it just makes people frustrated getting errors.

ioi said he was going to upgrade servers soon, so that should resolve some of the issues. Funny how I mentioned that months ago about upgrading servers.

Well Digg has proven itself succesful but I will not Digg another story until ioi upgrades his servers. First and foremost I like being able to use a site I regularly visit and not get 404 errors all day. Imagine what will happen when the Wii passes 10 million and when the Wii passes the 360.

I am not bashing ioi. I just said I woudln't digg this site until I am sure that it can operate smoothly with 1,000+ users on it. I know getting servers to run like that isn't easy nor cheap but I still have an interest inposting and reading here. If I didn't i woudln't care about the digg effect.
