Look at the sales for the game:
Tekken 3 was the highest with almost seven million.
Tekken 5 was the lowest with 1.65 million.
You tell me how important Tekken 6 really is? On a userbase smaller than that of the PS2 when Tekken 5 launched?
Okay then.
Tekken 6 hasn't been important since forever, and no one has even been talking about it. lol. The only people making this big are anti-PS3 people who want this to hurt, when, again, it doesn't matter.

The Tekken 5 numbers don't include others or the sales of Tekken 5: Dark Ressurection.
This post fails in it's attempt to belittle something little into nothing.

I'm not trying to belittle anything.
Firstly, Dark Resurrection didn't come out for the PS2, that was for the PS3 and the PSP.
Tekken 5's numbers do have "Others" sales too :S
And no, I'm not trying to belittle anyhting. It is good that this is going to the 360, but the fact is that the sales for the system have been falling every since Tekken 2/3. I just don't understand when this game became big.
It wasn't in people's posts, people weren't like "ZOMG, Tekken 6 will save PS3 in Japan" or anything like that. The only time I remember hearing about this game is in the "Favourite fighting game" thread, and even then, the likes of VF and DoA were liked more than it.
But for a game that *might* sell close to 2 million on both consoles combined, I don't see how this is huge.
Seriously, I am not trying to belittle this game, as I do have a soft spot in my heart for this game, I just really want to know when this game became such a 'game-changer' for the consoel race.
