So I picked up a new PS3 last night. I have a X360 in my house, and it is currently my favorite system, but I like to be able to play any game that comes out, so I need all the consoles!

I never realized how bad the game drought was! I ended up grabbing a used copy of Resistance, because it was the only game available that interested me.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance looks cool, but I want to tackle that on multiplayer (only 1 controller atm)

Ninja Gaiden Sigma looks great, but I already have Ninja Gaiden and Ninja Gaiden Black... so I don't know if I want Sigma as my only PS3 title.

I was just curious, anyone play anything else particularly good for the PS3? (I have plenty of racing games on my 360, I don't need any more)

I know you said you already have plenty of racing games, but try motorstorm and try using it with the sixaxis on, it's mind blowing!

Appart from that, there is an appauling drought of games, i can't wait until Sept/November when some big titles come out.

What evil brought you into buying a ps3 geez

The Darkness, and Rainbow six, are good unless you already have them on your 360.

(I have The Darkness and R6 Vegas for 360)

I do like my system so far. I bought it understanding the current state of games for the platform. I know games will be released in 2008, I just wanted to get my hands on one while the price was down.

I think I'll play Resistance for now, and use my PS3 as my media center (gogo TV Versity) for now. Once the games are out I'll be able to get a better idea of what this system is capable of. Thanks for the suggestions, and feel free to post more.

Dont get marvel alliance that game sucks, dunno why I even bought it, if you dont have a ps2 buy some ps2 games, GOW,KH1/KH2,FF10,Shadow colossus,devilmaycry3, and each game is only 20buks. For ps3 games you should get ninja gaiden even if you have it on xbox that game is awsome.

I read some reviews and got the feeling that it's really a multiplayer game at it's core. I'm definitely looking into checking it out next payday though ;)

I'm not looking at picking up a game right away, I haven't even finished Resistance yet, just curious about user opinions, seeing if there's anything out there that I should check out (or avoid, thanks for the tip).
