The game was built around teh cell harware. Every Tekken game has been on PS and we knew about this game for a long time now. I doubt we will see a 360 version any time soon.

i dont think tkken has console importance now, they may asell release it on 360 as long as game isnt gimped coz of multiplat status. ive enjoyed tekken dark resorection online, no doubt this will be better, in fact any1 who has ps3 buy dark resorection its flipin ace

What?where did it say that it's coming on 360 aswell?it just says the newer version of tekken 6 will head to PS3 which is called tekken 6:blood rebelion
Tekken 6 arcade machines are Namco's 357 System, here are the specs:
Hardware : PS3 Based
CPU : Cell
GPU : RSX
Ram : 256MB Rambus XDR DRAM, clocked at CPU die speed.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
The main hardware is practically a PS3...
idont think that its will come to 360 ... its in PS from the start & until now no tekken game go to other console.
this is just Sony's policy at work. Ports = must have new content. So original Tekken 6 needed new content anyways.
libellule said: well, no mention of the xbox360 version developpement (or not) also, Is there not something that make the arcade version easier to port to PS3 than to xbox360 ? can someone confirm (or not) ? |
ya, Tekken 6 is running on a Cell processor in the arcade machine. Tekken 6's arcade machine = specialized PS3 basically.

Tekken Advance on the GBA.
That game never happened and neither did Tekken 4. End that conversation no one needs to relive the horror.
