I think (hope) that once Nintendo gets the Balance Board to the right size for all markets (Japanese and American as Miyamoto put it)

Wow, so they have to make two different size WiiBoards to compensate for the large population of fatties in the US?  I don't know what to say about that.  Sadly, it's true.  Can we please just put the fork down people?  Please?  This is embarassing, on an international scale.  Do the PAL owners get a regular WiiBoard, or a Jumbo, XL, Super-Sized, Everything-On-It board like us in the states?  (Or do they get the Goldilocks Board that's juuuust right?)

I'm more curious about the game that ships with the wii zapper than the zapper itself. :)

A little off topic but I think nintendo is trying to squez the money out of people with the wii zapper, really why would you need it? The wii mote is fun without it.

You know, I understand that people might see it that way. Perhaps it's even a bit true. But honestly, having played through Medal Of Honor Vangaurd just because of the Wiimote ( dreadful game at best ) I loo forward to the Zapper as it does start to make your arm hurt after hours of play.

I'm hoping the Zapper will nulify this some. Also I hope the vibration function on the Wiimote will help give some "kickback" feel to the action of firing the gun.

I just wish they would have picked a different name. I trust they will not tarnish the NES Zapper legacy with this new invention.

Aladdin flying carpet game :D

You know what, this ain't a bad idea. I would still love SSX with the board. It would have such an arcade feel to it.

Some kind of rumble in the BB would be great! Then you'll get your earthquakes...

Well...Americans are probably in general taller and larger overall than Japanese people...though it is true they're generally more obese too.

I'm sick of all the anti-American crap on the internet though...I bet British people are about as fat.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Well americans are defineatly the fatest on average, but alot of western countries (uk, australia) arn't far behind.

Everyone I know that goes to america comes back saying that it's not so much the ammount of fat people, just the shear ammount of grossly obese people.

I wonder how many other games will use the Wii Board. It is hard to base a game around a peripheral if you don't package the peripheral in with the game.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

Didn't they ban Spongebob Squarepants in U.K due to the portrayal of fatty foods?
