Fifa launched in Europe last week and its a bigger franchise than Madden is. Last Year the PS2 version was the top dog software wise with over two million in sales, followed by the PS3, then 360. As we all can see from Madden and other game laucnhes this year the PS3 is picking up some of the PS2's software sales.

My question is with the recent spike and pricecut for the 360, can the PS3 and PS2 still top software and hardware?

PS. I know there is a Wii version too but I'm not sure if it was released last week.

Ps3 version won by 6K last year in Others, so a statistical tie. Thus, I would say it is obvious that Ps3 will > X360 piece of cake.

Still, Ps2 will take the first place overall easily.

Ps2 > Ps3 > X360 > PsP > Wii > DS, at least for first week.

Overall, I guess it will end

Ps2 > Ps3 > X360 = Wii > Psp > DS

Think the ps3 version will have over 2 million lifetimesales.

Oh I knew PES 2009 would launch next year on wii I also know the PS3 will absolutely rock the sale charts upon the game release.

Now I am curious about Wii sales of the game.

You asked in PAL charts thread if there is no Fifa in Netherlands chart. And I told you that it isn't becouse Netherlands chart is closed early and you should expect Wii Fifa 09 sales to increase next week.

So why are you saying now it's to be launched next year?

Or did you confuse Fifa with PES? (PES actually is going to be released later than PS2/PS3/360 version, not sure if in 2009 through).

No. According to the European amazon sites (uk/fr/de) and 3 other online shops I checked FIFA 09 for Wii was released in Europe last week. It will be released in NA on October 28th.

The Wii version of PES 2009 will be released next year, not FIFA 09.
