You can still use the internet browser your PS3 right?

 

 yes i can still use my PS3s internet browser.

ive searched on google and people just say to restart the modem and to ring Sony.

and this may help in finding out what is wrong.  Just recently when its signed me out and ive done a connection test it says that everything is successful.  So why did it sign me out if everything is successful?

maybe get a new Ethernet cable, but i doubt tht

turn off Meida Server in Network Connections menu
