It happened about a week ago i was just playing cod4 and then i got connection interuption. Then it said the server timmed out like it does and i thought it was nothing. Then it signed me out and said: An error occured during communication with the system. This is a DNS error.(80710102)

Ever since ive been going online for about half an hour then it sighnes me out and then i have to wait 20 mins to go back on then the whole process starts again. I no that my internet connection is fine becasue im able to use this computer whilst my PS3 is the having problems.

Is their anything that i can do to fix this problem? Ive typed the error code in on the net and it just tells me the same stuff that ive tryed many a time. Does anyone no if its my problem if there is

or weather it is Sonys doing or something else.

Also im aware that it is not just when im playing cod4 because its happned to me when im been signed in and playing uncharted. (a completley offline game) Then it sighns e out with the identical problem....

Restarting my modem router sometimes works but only untill the next time the error pops up

Turn off your pc firewall if it's on. You can set up the connection again and while you're at it power cycle your modem.

Are you using a wireless or wired connection? DSL, cable modem?

 im using wired and ive got a modem router.

Have you tried unplugging everything from the network but the PS3?

You can try to set up your PS3 internet connection manually. I've read that for most such problems this solved the issue (or opening up modem ports, use alternative IP addresses for your region, could be a temporary PSN or ISP problem though, etc) . Search for this error code on google, find postings expressing similar issues and let us know if you solved the problem.

You can still use the internet browser your on PS3 right?
