Nice. Whilst quite overrated in my opinion, MGS4 was an EXCELLENT game.

Let's hope he can benefit the Halo franchise.

This is the third or fourth thread on this topic. I am not sure why this is news. This guy was an assistant producer on MGS4 that left Kojima because he wanted to move back to the US. His role with MGS4 was undefined. The only credit he has taken was to get the developers to understand western concepts related to controls. The only reason we know his name is because he was the english speaking spokesman for the game.

Thanks for the input, Jeff.

^ yeah i read it before but not sure where

Truth be told, Payton has gone from being a legendary developer to being a nobody in much the same way FFXIII has gone from being a game-changer to being a side game in Versus' shadow.

I guess you are suggesting that there was some PS3 fan worship of Ryan Payton?  If so, I missed those threads.  If MGS hires Kojima post a thread.  Hiring his assistant is not newsworthy.

Thanks for the input, Jeff.

what happened to "i don't watch my game" and "MGS4" is a movie???

^ Please fanboys. Dont come to this thread and damage control. There is nothing to damage control. Do you have any idea what an assitant producer does? I guess not. assistant producer works with the producer (Hideo Kojima) and the Executive producer. Those things you mentioned are side jobs. *sigh*

LOL. I praised MGS4. Find one single comment where I said MGS4 was a poor game.
