Probably not, but you never know.  I gotta think it's a Suda game.  I mean there aren't too many other "free" developers out there.  Suda 51 being "free" because his studio needs money to make games.

I'd wonder if he qualfies as "world famous" but hey he does have his cult following.

Wii did give him his biggest success yet.

I don't think the Ninja Gaiden guy has been freelance long enough.

Besides which they're a small company.  So they would need it to be a "cheap" world renown freelance developer.

Suda 51 is the only one that fits that bill to my knowledge.

Besides this is the company that threw a party because of how well No More Heroes sold.

I agree with Soriku, the game is strictly a console game. It's being hyped like it's the best thing ever (let's hope it is).

Not even DQIX is getting the hype it deserves, and it's possibly one of the biggest if not the biggest release next year. This game hasn't got much hype either, but mainly because we dont know what the hell this game is, we only have the promise of it being Christ himself :P

I always wanted that game for Gamecube or N64 but it never came. I always imagined this game playing kind of like Smash Bros. too for some reason. I'll dream with you Maynard.

If they don't hype PSP games much, how do any of them sell well like Crisis core or Monster Hunter?

Now I am confused.  I thought hype had to do with how excited the general public were about the game and not how much media the developers are releasing on the game.

Yeah, right. Not. This is a prime example of people taking a potshot at people just because they work on the PS3 instead of the Wii. Nomura and Matsuno might be about equal, but neither one is Kojima and any one that makes this kind of comment is doing so just in an attempt to throw back-handed discredit at the PS3 and at Kojima because he chose to put his best game on the PS3.

Yeah that has to be it. It isn't as simple as somebody having a different opinion than you  right?

Disgree Mr. Soriku. Handhelds are the hot item in Japan especially with the DS and PSP both recieving hardware revisions. I don't see why this couldn't, because the Japanese market loves handheld gaming far more than consoles at the moment.

What Marvelous is doing is hyping the game simply with words. We will have to wait till TGS to find what this game really is... still DQIX isn't being hyped by SE like it should. Gamers want to know what they are going to buy always. All but diehard fans.

I betcha it's Shigesato Itoi. That'd be pretty awesome :3  Eh, probably not, but if it was and he announced Mother 3 that'd be the best thing ever. (Or I dunno, Mother something)
