Yes, it's much more exciting to get passed opponents by ramming them rather than using coordination and finesse.

Also, the most exciting thing about Ice Hockey is the brawls, which isn't actually a part of the sport, therefore Hockey has nothing exciting.


And I think you may have a slight mental deficiency, sports gamers aren't playstation owners, 360 is because college kids are (Halo led the way, and price point is backing it up). What this info does say is that Europe is still heavily favouring PS3.

I'm pretty sure Rugby has a small but devoted fanbase in Japan too, country like South Africa also compete internationally but those country are virtually irrellevant to sales. It is a shame that such franchise are being neglected by EA's strong arm tactic.

Ofcourse. It did in most european countries. And often by huge margin too, like in Germany where the PS2 version sold 4 times better.

Just goes to show how utterly ineffective the price drop was and what a flop the machine is among casuals.
