Forums - Nintendo Discussion - What's Nintendo working on? Even more Wii and 3DS games.

It is time for NST to release either a new Wave Race or a new 1080°.

I think NST should leave both of those franchises, Shaun White and Wii Sports Resort cover those games just fine. I'd love to see a new IP from them.. If it's a sports game, how about surfing? Wii seems to fit really well with that but it could be kinda boring..

Hopefully something completely new (and not a sports title) :)

I don't think that the Jetskiing in WSR wil be enough the replace a fully fleshed Wave Race game. I mean, Wii Sports Tennis doesn't really make up for the lack of Mario Tennis either, does it?

@nintendo_fanboy: I think you should check out some videos of Wii Sports Resort. It makes Wii Sports look like a tech demo.

It's very full featured, trust me on that.

I'm surprised the mysterious new Zelda hasn't been mentioned in this thread.

I know that WSR is different to Wii Sports, I was just making an analogy.

You really expect the jetskiing in WSR to be comparable to Wave Race, where you get about eight different tracks with changing routes, different drivers which all have individual strenghts and weaknesses, cup systems, changing difficulties and changing wheater on the tracks?

Wii Vitality added, at least that's how it's called for now, developed by ? Probably EAD 5, but I won't add it yet.

Wii Vitality

- expected to ship next year
- checks relaxation levels
- detects breathing in/out based on blood flood
- visual representation of a human silhouette fills with blue water to represent stress levels, greener water represents calmer state
- metronome ticks away to help with breathing exercises

Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.

How come you don't have Intelligent Systems as producing Paper Mario: TTYD? That is a pretty good game to list.

NPC! Chibi Robo and NPC! Metroid Prime 2 were released today in Japan, putting an end to the Gamecube ports. Hopefully they don't announce more, considering most of them haven't particularly sold well, and they focus on new iterations of these franchises.

Near future releases: Friend Collection, Dragon Quest Wars, Wii Sports Resort and Melee! Pokemon Scramble! all in June, all in Japan.
