I'll be the odd one out and say I like it and the PSN label.
It's not a large symbol or anything, it's just a small, plain black strip at the top.
Something so small, really shouldn't bother people.

I don't really like it, I think something like this is needed for games like Warhawk and SOCOM to make it bleedingly obvious that they are online only but I don't think they should put it there for all games that use PSN.

Did it use the PS2 font?

Yeah, the losing systems tend to have the "exclusive" thing to make the console look more attractive. Then again, it backfired in the way, that when you see a game without the label, you'll know that the game is available for other platforms too.
