Whoo, that'd be something. It'd be a Win/Win/Win situation. I doubt there would be many complaints.

If that happens and it causes a delay to the launch of the game, then the megatons that the people on pages 1&2 where talking about will find themselves over the SE office building.  And then 5 million Japanese FF fans will storm the wreckage looking for survivors, but they won't be lending a helping hand.

Of course that is rumoured! Some people wan't to be prepared emotionally in order to not suffer the same pain in case of the non exclusivity of FFXIII in Japan :P to be honest due to how thing are going it'd funny but it would be very BAD news for Sony, let's wait and see.

The anticipation is building. It really is conference time. I'm curious to see the other 8 unannounced PS3 games Sony has for us.

Nomura doesn't seem to like the idea of it going multiplat. Course he really doesn't have a huge say in the matter in Sqeenix wants to, but I can't possibly see them doing anything else to tick Sony off. 

 

Last gen I would have said this would have mattered.  But the PS3 isn't king-of-the hill like the PS2 was, so why would SE worry about it?  You have to be way out in front to make demands of third parties.
