yeah... well, how bout this, it's a FACT that more gameplaying critics, who get paid to at least try and be unbiased... which is whole lot more concrete than the randoms posting in here.... it's a FACT that they have given the xbox 360 a much larger library of high rated games than the PS3. So..... you know, there's a FACT for you.

Also reviews are rated with knowledge of existing library. With this theory Bioshock will be rated lower on PS3 than it has been on 360. Xbox 360 has high review scores, because it's first games had to be compared with GC PS2 Xbox.

No matter how you guys are trying to spin this, twestern is right.  And no matter how you guys are trying to force Metacritic down people's throat, it ultimately doesn't matter.  I know reasoning is going to fall on deaf ears, but at least there are still some who will listen to reason.  Last time I checked, gamers buy consoles to play the games that they want, not just because some site "said so." 
If you have to point to a site to claim that's the reason why you should buy a particular console, you're telling the whole world that you are sheep to numbers and not to individual preferences.  In the end, numerical ratings mean nothing.  It's what the individual gamers wants and how much is it worth it to them.

The text in red doomed your whole arguement because no one is without bias = OPINION.  I will agree that it's a fact that there is the opinion that the 360 has a btter library of games.  Just like what you just said.

Amen :P most games charts are too generic to suite my tastes. and besides everybody is different?, i feel sorry for those who buy games based on charts and numbers. Do what i do, actually read a few reviews, have a look at what people say and how they describe a game, if u like it then most likely its the game for you. Numbers dont mean nothing if u dont like those games.

IMO i feel that the wii ps3 360, all have something to offer in equal amounts. if u only experiencing one or two sides. u miss out on the other. Don't hate another console because it hasnt got the game u like or dont like.

Your maths is a little off. Games 70+ include all games between 70 and a 100. PS3 has 62% of games above 70 and Xbox 360 51%. However, for the most part people only care about the good games in a library so all that really matters is the sheer quantity of good games, where Xbox 360 clearly wins.

yeah i agree with anyone that say is all opinion based. i brought this up because i saw alot of xbox 360 has better games responses on threads like should i get ps3 or xbox 360.

metacritic rated mgs4 and halo 3 both 94% but i have no interest in those games. they gave starwars TFU 69% but im interested in it O.O

It doesn't. It has more games, but that doesn't mean it's the better library...

"The one that has the better library" is strictly an opinion based matter.

When your buying a console, you don't ask "Which one has more games" you ask, "Which one has the games I WANT"....

Fact: More people are of the opinion that in total, the 360 has more games that deserve a higher score then the PS3 has with its game. As evidenced by Metacritic and Gamerankings.

That leads to the assumption that: The 360 has a better games library then the PS3's.

Personally, I think it does. It has good/great games in almost every genre, meaning that no matter what I like to play, there's always something there for me. PS3's library can't necessarily do that. Also, of the best titles i.e AAA, the 360 over the last few years (so basically last 2) have had a much more steady release of these titles, whereas PS3 hasn't seen that yet (it will see it these holidays, but beyond that? who knows).

Also, I think OP's username suits him or her very well, because one game doesn't make a console successful, look at Halo and the xbox.

Right now that's what the PS3 is doing, with MGS4 the lone truly outstanding exclusive title in the library (R1, Uncharted and R&C are all great titles, but they aren't up there with the likes of MGS4, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Halo 3, Gears).

Again, That'll change, but as it stands 360 library >>>>>> PS3 library.
