Forums - Nintendo - FINALLY!! Beat Metroid Prime 2

Some of you were giving me crap because I take too long to finish a game. Well. 26hrs of actual game time and it is done. 91% of items 67% of scans and a whole lot of fun.

Now to finish Godfather and get ready for August 20th.

Now I will sell my GC games and controller as I have no other use for them. VC will stick to NES and SNES so classic controller is fine. I should be able to get a good $60-70 off of ebay for MP2, 2 wavebirds, and a gc memory.

Wow

I never sell any of my stuff

That has to suck...

Here's a video from my band's last show Check out more (bigger) videos here http://www.youtube.com/user/icemanout

Why does it suck? I won't play through it again, nor will i buy any N64 or gc games. So, I can resell of of the related stuff and save money on new Wii games. Probably get RE:4 Wii edition and MP3 for what I sell those items for, or at least most of the cost.

I can probably get $25 each for the wavebirds ($50)
$10 for MP2 w/ memory and saved finished game. ($60)
$30 for GC Zelda compilation disc ($90)

So MP3 will be $50 and RE:4 is what $25 on ebay so ($75). Hell I have a $15 range to be over priced on what I expect to get for the GC stuff.

I say that's smart.

Wavebirds are like $30 new.

Whoops, read your post wrong, though you said you were going to get almost new prices for MP2 and RE4.

From a purely practical standpoint, you should keep your Cube controller and memory card. The controller is used for some Wii games, one of which is Brawl, and you wouldn't get a whole lot for either one on the second market. By selling them you cut yourself off from any potential GC games which you may want to rent or possibly recieve as gifts.

I agree, you should keep the controllers in case you ever want to play a GC game again...and then you'd need a memory card too.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

congrats on beating metroid prime 2

I probably won't buy Brawl, however, I may keep them around just in case.

If you look on ebay, wavebirds are selling for $20+. I sold my last two when I bought my Wii in Feb for $23 and $24.

The memory I was going to give away with MP2 as it won't sell for that much anyways.

There is a pretty high demand for the Zelda compilation disc as that was never actually in retail. Plus, I would rather buy Zelda and Zelda II on VC for $10 later so, no biggie selling this game. Zelda:oot and Zelda:mm I don't think i would play a second time.

The only game I am currently keeping that I still may never replay is Zelda:TP. But, I may do that again if there are no other games to play at that time.

I really don't think I will buy/rent any gc games and if anyone wants to buy me a game gift it will be a Wii game.

So, I think, for now selling everything but the wavebirds will be a done deal as you make a good point about Brawl. I will have to read reviews of the game using the classic controller to see which is better.

A really stupid idea to sell your wavebirds, i say.

Nintendo stopped manufacturing em and they can't be found ANYWHERE in Europe.

Wavebirds are HOT a.t.m... Shops in my area got lots of orders for Wavebirds... But Nintendo doesn't ship em (at least not in great numbers) anymore... Since they only hav a few left. And: Classic controllers have wires... Just like the 'normal' Gamecube controllers. But Wavebirds are... Wireless!... And i always hate it when i have to play NGC games on my Wii with a normal controller!... So a wavebird comes in quite handy. And: Almost all VC games support Gamecube controllers And Gamecube games can be played on your Wii... So i think it is more of a 'safe-bet' to keep your Gamecube/Wavebird controller. Btw: I'm willing to pay more than 40$ for 1 Wavebird! Since they are so rare!... A friend of mine is so desperate for one he is willing to give 80$... But that's him.

THE NETHERLANDS

You should have waited till August so you can feel how much better MP3 is going to be. Don't sell the wavebird though, thereis always a chance you will find a good GC game in a bargain bin. And you can play Twilight Link in GC left-handed as God intended him to be!
