In 1988 (I think) the first system I ever played was the Atari 2600. The games I played were Space Invaders, Missile Command and Millipede.
In 1989 (not sure about this either) I got an NES with Super Mario Bros. shortly followed by Megaman 2, 3 and Final Fantasy.

It was the Atari 2600...I'm not sure of the game though.  I do remember Asteroids being one of my favorites.

It was Sonic the Hedgehog on my big sister's GameGear. I think I was about 4 or 5 and I thought it was the most epic thing in the world.

I dont remember the first game I played, but the first game I had was super mario all stars for the snes.

NES playing zelda, duck hunt, mario bros., dizzy(great game), dragon quest, final fantasy all the classics playing when I was just 4-5 years old.

I have never sold back a game or console, still have NES, a SNES, N64, PS1 PS2 and Ps3. And all of them still work

I played the NES, then the SNES, then got a GB and then a N64, then a GBC, GBA, GC, GBA SP, DS, DS Lite, and Now a Wii, PSP, and 360. Yet when I played the NES, it had been out for years... I got the N64 in 1996-1997 not sure, when I was 6-7.

The first systems I ever played were the atari systems and the sega master system. I got a NES Mario/Duck Hunt/World Class Track Meet combo system in 1987. After that I have owned almost every system ever released in the U.S. NES, SNES, Genesis/Sega CD/32X, Saturn, Dreamcast, PS1, CD-I, 3DO, N64, Jaguar, GB, GB Pocket, GB Color, GBA, GBA SP, DS, PS2, Gamecube, Neo Geo Pocket Color, Game Gear, PSP, Wii, Xbox 360, PS3...
