Forums - Sony - Your Suggestions and hopes for a *BETTER* PSP

Hello Everyone ,

To be honest , after seeing the new DSi , I think that the PSP 3000 has bad updates .

so I think that sony must look at the new PSP again , and make some MAIN changes .

here  are some things  that make the PSP look better :

1. Right analog stick ............. SONY , EVERYBODY WANTS ANOTHER ANALOG !!!

2. SIXAXIS ,or some motion senesing . and I think that this Idea may compete DS's touchscreen ..... just thinking !

3. .wmv and .avi files compatibility , because there are millions of people who are sick from converting files !

4. ANTI-PIRACY , now this is an important thing ,why ??

(Pirates >>> stealing games >>> lower game sales  >>> developers leave the PSP >>>> NO MORE GAMES !!! )

5. use the microphone on games , just like the DS , I know it is a ripoff !

6. .PDF compatibility  , so that the psp can be an Ebook reader .

7. powerful screen , or at least : a screen protector that comes with the psp .

8. looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong live bettry

9. louder speakers .

10. Vibration .

that's it , I hope you post more suggestions for the PSP .

BTW , sorry for the bad language.

Around the Network

mic maybe used for games.

its up to developers, its used mainly for the skype app

the release of the 3000 its due the piracy it won't be able to hack using a pandora battery anymore

speakers are about the same of the ones of the Dsi.

vibration and motion sensing would be nice but no many games will use it.
maybe for the psp2

the screen 3000 is faster and more colorful.

mp4 its a good choice since its used more, wmv is not needed its not a popular format either.

There isnt much you can add to the psp

Sony just needs to hurry up with the PSPhone. I think the PSP as it is right now is dead in the water. Sure sales are fine but the most important thing is lacking. PSP is the worst supported 40M selling console in history. This is not because people don't play games on PSP. The biggest issue the sytem faces is piracy. I am the only one I know out 17 PSP owners that actually buys games. All of my friends, family, and assosiates are dick head pirates.

The problem Sony faces is that they can not fix this issue on the current PSP. They still have to be supportive of the people that are not being asses and that don't have internet, memory, or money. This is why I think it is crucial that Sony gets the next PSP out within the next 2 years. Basically they need to copy the Ipods current situation. They need to have the all in one version, and they need to have the version that primarly does games. Here is my list of PSP future needs:

This is what I want if Sony really does a new PSP within a year and a half to two years. There are other features I would love to see, but I have a dinner to attend.

I think sony need to get into the phone buisness(become a phone company themselves, like ATT, VERIZON, etc...)

Then release the PSP PHONE, that would really get them some money.

they have sony ericsson.

but that company its really underperforming lately so i believe no psp phone will come for a while.
they would have to create the whole phone feature for the psp and batteries are not powerful enough to handle psp hardware for at least 24hrs

they don't need a psp phone, but to combat piracy.

heck..make the PSP the DS2...that's the only way it could really work..with the stuff you agve..battery life would die..and battery life is

DAMN important to portable games

I think the PSP is pretty solid as is, but I do like the input on this thread. the only thing I could add, after playing a little PSP is, the R and L buttons weren't bad, but they wern't the most comfortable for me, and it seemed 50/50 with the design. So neater R/L button, with better response and perhaps a slightly different shape would be sweet in my opinion.

Thats simple.

Get rid of all the sloppy ass multimedia function and focus on the games first!

Fix graphics l Load time faster l Smaller screen l better button layout

When I was buying either a DS or PSP, I had no idea about the games library. That was 2 years or so ago when I only play on PC.

I picked DS over PSP for 1 reason. Design. Clam shell style doesn't require me to add additional protection. I never feel comfortable having the LCD screen exposed.
