Palin isn't doing that badly. Biden is definitely a better speaker but Palin is pretty damned good at eyeballing the camera and convincing you that she has a clue what's going on - at least on a superficial level.

Yeah, Palin is doing a good job, dodging too many questions for my liking, but doing fine.

She just got a good bitch slap in on Biden with that Washington politics line. Still, overall I think Joe is "winning". Though Palin is probably inspiring some confidence by keeping it close.
