Forums - Gaming Discussion - Every Videogame you've ever owned

When buying videogames, here are my rules: I will not pay over $300 for videogame hardware. I will not buy hardware unless there are at least two games I want immediately, and three I want in the next year. I like to buy about 25 games per console generation, which usually means I will buy two consoles per generation. I simply will never have BOTH time and money to afford And play more games than that a year. Wii: 2006: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Rayman Raving Rabbits Super Monkey Ball 2007: Sonic and the Secret Rings (Gunstar Heroes) GC (played 2001-2006, but I still play Ikaruga, Viewtiful Joe 2, Soul Calibur 2 and Smash Brothers on occasion): Smash Brothers Pikmin Super Monkey Ball Super Mario Sunshine Star Fox Adventures Metroid Prime Wind Waker Ikaruga F Zero GX Soul Calibur 2 Viewtiful Joe Viewtiful Joe 2 Prince of Persia Beyond Good & Evil MVP Baseball 2004 Tales of Symphonia Pikmin 2 Resident Evil 4 Killer 7 Fire Emblem Mario Party 4 Mario Kart: Double Dash Animal Crossing DC: Jet Grind Radio Soul Calibur Shenume Sonic Adventure Powerstone Sonic Adventure 2 N64 (played from 1996 to 2002 in large doses): Super Mario 64 Pilotwings 64 Mario Kart 64 Tetrisphere Mischeif Makers Starfox 64 Diddy Kong Racing Yoshi's Story Banjo Kazooie Super Smash Brothers The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask Mario Tennis Mario Party F Zero 64 Donkey Kong 64 Starwars Pod Racing (forget the exact name) SNES (got in 1993, played until 1998, with one exception - Street Fighter 2 - until Soul Calbur and Smash Brothers came out in 99') : Super Mario World Yoshi's Island Street Fighter 2 Super Mario RPG Donkey Kong Country Donkey Kong Country 2 Super Metroid Super Punch-out Super Mario Kart Star Fox Earthbound Final Fantasy 3 Genesis (got one in 1991, played until 1999, couldn't justify getting a Saturn just for Nights) Sonic 1 Sonic 2 Sonic 3 Sonic & Knuckles Sonic Pinball Gunstar Heroes Shinobi Mortal Kombat 2 Toe Jam & Earl Bubsy F1 Racing (I think..) If I posted every game I ever owned, I'd strain the VG Charts server more than it is! I honestly can't remember over 5,000+ games...

That's just too many games. Atari 2600 - atleast 200 games. NES - about 50 SNES - about 30 Genesis - like 10 N64 - 10 (this is when I was too focused on college) DS - 2 (just bought it for a month long business trip, played NSMB and Worms) GC - 20 (again school was for first half of system, finishing up time consuming CS degree) Wii - 5 so far. Will probably own 50+ by end of system. oh and PC - 10 ish. So in total somewhere around 300 games or so. ps, did you really own 5000+ games. that sounds like way too many.

Still own! Actually scratch 5k - it's well over 6k. My first console was Pong - gives you an idea of how long I've been collecting these things (including duds like the 3DO, exotics like the Famicom Twin, PC Engine, Mega Drive, each with their NA equivalents), and so forth and so on. It might seem a lot, but back in the day I would pass games like Super Mario World 3 in one afternoon - believe it or not. So if you add a game a day for some 10-odd years, you can see why I own, played, and passed so many games.

Famicom, I didnt even buy it. It was a hand me down. That's it. Unless you count PC games(mostly limited to RTS). And, oh, the Wii.

The first Console I bought was the SNES with DKC and Super Mario All Star in 1994. from 10 to 20 games on NES something like 8~10 games on Atari 2600 More than 30 games on SNES from 10 to 20 on Sega Mega Drive (GENESIS for the US) 5 games on Game Gear from 20 to 30 games on GB about 30 games on GBA (Minish Cap still missing >> Gonna start it next week) Played Sonic on N-Gage (I'm not proud of this...) from 20 to 30 games on N64 (I still own like 10 games on it and looking for some others) from 40 to 50 games on PSX maybe 50 games on the DC (and I still own like 30 games; next for me to play: At least 10 games) something like 30 games on GC (this numbers is increasing constantly) less than 10 games on XBOX (I can remember DOA3, PGR2, Ninja Gaiden, PES4, Fifa 2005, NBA Jam, Robocop, Fable...) less than 20 games n PS2 (Never purchased a PS2 ) Too many on PC And yeah, I'm a Hardcore gamer
