There was some new stuff at the NA conference but a lot of it was embargoed until like Monday. So people complaining about lack of megatons may just have to wait until then.

What I'm surprise by, though, is the lack of talk about Samurai Warriors 3 for the Wii. It was the equivalent of the Monster Hunter 3 announcement from last year's fall conference. Samurai Warriors maybe a Dynasty Warriors spinoff, but to give you an idea of how big it is over in Japan, the first Samurai Warriors sold over a million copies in Japan alone. You could say it might be bigger than Monster Hunter 3.

Is that the one game where the woman with a sword was battling huge enemies? Because that looks amazing, seriously.

I don't think people are making it as big of a deal because Samurai Warriors is multiplatform, or at least was. The last three iterations appeared on the PS2 and Xbox 360. if anything the Wii should have been seen as the natural progression of where the series was going. From PS2 to Wii.

Do we have confirmation anywhere on who is developing Sin and Punishment 2? Hopefully it is Treasure but they are normally reluctant to do sequels. Hopefully Nintendo didn't take it on themselves as that would lead to far too much heart ache for me.

Treasure rumored to want to do a Sin and Punishment sequel a year ago. I'm pretty sure it's the unnamed action title they were creating for the Wii. Merry Xmas Gnizmo. Get your dough ready for importing.

I might hold off on importing this one actually. The immesnse popularity in the west means a quick turn around time for localization hopefully. I am going to blow enough cash this holiday season getting their games as is.

First time nintendo impressed me since the day I bought my Wii. ALl I can say is way to step it up a notch and bring the fire. Makes up for horrible E3 and absence from TGS. The new Wii games look superb(not graphically of course)
the DSi is amazing(but no GBA slot = FAIL).

But Overall I am a very happy consumer.

Nice new ds.

S&P is getting a western release. They said so in their US press conference. So no importing necessary.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

I don't think you understand. I don't import Treasure games because they won't be localized. I do it because I need them so badly sometimes that I can't wait the few months of seperation, or in the case of Bleach DS the 12 months of seperation. I may not be able to wait if Japan gets S&P 2 first and I have to sit back and read import hands-on of a finished game I could be salivating over.

What he said. You don't seem to understand the level of fanatacism at work here. I need there next game so I can see just how much I suck at my favorite hobby. The Bleach fighter will certainly get a western release eventually, but I am damn sure going to import it because I don't want to wait however long it takes that over rated show to air all the necessary episodes over here. I will pay another $10-$15 to get the game several months early.

Oh and I should say that the Wii is now confirmed to be the best console on the market. Both Treasure projects have been announced and one has been sorta dated (2009 for Sin and Punsihment 2) and a Virtual Console game already out. This crushes the puny 360 which only has Ikaruga and a still unnamed project in the works. This manages to get it to tie the DS which has 2 Bleach DS fighters and Bangai-o Spirits. Well it will tie it when the games finally get released, but still puts it head and shoulders over the console competition.
