Before Pikmin (and not counting previous Wii remake Resident Evil 4), Nintendo will re-release Donkey Kong Jungle Beat on December 11. Upcoming titles in the collection include Chibi Robo, Pikmin 2, Mario Tennis GC, Metroid Prime, and Metroid Prime 2 Dark Echoes. No word on any release dates outside of Japan, but we'll be live at Nintendo of America's press conference in San Francisco later today.

Yea and Ninty announced a lot of games under their belt they've been hiding for so long which is kinda impressive. And to think they said at E3 no big announcements for the rest of the year. Yea right haha with Punch out and Sin and Punishment 2.

But what about new titles??

I mean seriously that event was a big disappointment....still no Kid Icarus, Donkey Kong or Pilotwings news

The most common sittuation like H-S said is putting a very small team to port the games, probably composed of some new devs, + one veteran, with very little experience on the Wii controls... a nice way to train them and make money at the same time...

This should have been their e3 presentation.

I am one of the people here that is against porting GC games over to Wii. Don't get me wrong, a game like RE4 I will not complain about. But GC didn't have too many if those. IMO, The Wii has too much potential to waste time porting most of these games over.

Now that nintendo has got back the huge mainstream support that they once had, it's time to start funding more Wii-only games that are actually worth buying.

You've got to be kidding me. Nintendo announced about 10 titles at the conference just from them alone. Endless Ocean 2, Punch Out Wii, Sin and Punishment 2, Cosmic Walker, The Zelda looking game starring the chick, The action-RPG with the motions for magic attacks, plus like five games that look like Wii-Ware titles.

R u high lol. What r they going to have an option where Mike Tyson bites your ear off. Its punch out for god sakes.....Go buy fight night of some sort lol
