Check for dead pixels before you do anything. Return it for a new one if it has any.

You'll love the new d-pad on it, it sticks out more. I didn't play my phat much because of the old d-pad, I hated it. Screen is way better on the slim. Battery life is much longer. TV out is awesome.

One thing that I didn't like about the slim is the cheap UMD bay. That doesn't matter to me now, since I don't even put UMDs in it. Also, this thing is a grease magnet. n_n

Eversince I got the slim, I barely touch my DS. The d-pad and screen did it for me. I use it all the time now. Its an anime and emulation beast.

I was pretty confident I was going to get one last month but then I heard that another PSP model is coming out, the 3000 version next month I think? so anyway I'm just gonna wait for the 3000 version and then buy it. I might as well buy the best one.

Sony should make a new handheld complelty and find a new way to stop pirates.
