It could be one of the dozens of earlier Christs who had virgin mothers and rose from the dead that everybody always forgets about. Or it could mean trying to date the calendar to the Jesus is centuries off instead of decades.
Wonder if this one will be real. Christ artifacts often have a way of being altered.
Also it's not so much "Christ the magician" was found on a cup... but someone thinks it says christ the magician... as they have to interpret the meaning.
Aside from which I once went to a horror movie convention selling the movie "Jesus Christ: Serial Rapist".
Which was... as you might guess... Jesus Christ traveling around being a serial rapist.

I am sceptical of this cup.
However I have theorized for years that there was more than one "Jesus" who worked together to trick people with illusions and such. This would explain the "miracles"
For example I think the blind man bit could have been played by a friend/fellow trickster. He only cured one blind man after all.
It's just my theory though. I don't mean it to bash anyone elses belief.
