When you turn it on it's side, it goes straight to cover flow, plus you can shake it to shuffle songs o_o
It's so awesomely pointless. I want one.

If anything I would say Sony is adopting that strategy.

PSP is already going through another redesign, PS2 had slim models, PS3 already has tons of SKU's and probably a slim model eventually.
