So, I skipped the PS1 - PS2 console gaming altogether. Apparently, I missed out on those Black Pretzels.

It's nice to have all those remakes that I never got to play.

I don't understand the pretzel thing. Do you mean pretzelgate, with George W. Bush. But what has it to do with remade games? (Sorry, I am not american. Maybe your topic makes more sense to americans ...)

However, I love remade games. If games were not be remade, than I never had the opportunity to play Okami (Wii-Edition), Resident Evil 4 (Wii-Edition), Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Bonusgame with Zelda Windwaker).

However, which makes remade games really good is, when they get better controls (RE4, Okami) or are a free bonus (LoZ:OoT).

As for your question, though, I actually prefer that developers work on new stuff, when possible, and if I want an older game I'll find a way to play it. That said, it is nice when games that released on a platform I don't have come out on one I do.
