This was a few days ago, but I searched for it and I didn't see this posted.
This is a nice little walk down memory lane. They give a little history of the cutscene and intro in older games like Full Throttle, Syndicate and Red Alert. He talks about how alot of game developers now are of the opinion that full blown cutscenes tend to break the rhythm or disconnect people from the game world, but how back then that was the goal of the cutscene - to get people involved in the world. Pretty cool stuff.
