If you came into this thread to bash the 360 because of the jump in sales and do damage control for your console of choice, quit your whining. Go back to your own forum and do damage control. In this thread, you just sound pathetic and desperate.
The very fact that the 360 can still accomplish such huge sales jumps should shut you all up (not that it ever will). Most of you use that tired old argument that the 360 has already reached its saturation point and everyone who wants a 360 has one. If that were true, this would not be happening now, would it? You're all so quick to run in and crap all over the 360 after it's beaten the PS3 yet again. Why don't you either go play your PS3 and be happy, or go whine in your own forum?
It's time for you all to face the truth: the PS3 is not going to kill off the 360 this generation. If it's truly going to have a 10 year life cycle, then yes, it will most definitely pass the 360 up in sales at some point. Probably once we've started the next gen, or maybe at the very tail end of this gen. But I've heard that it would happen Christmas 07, Summer 08, Christmas 08, Summer 09, etc. I'm just not listening to those BS predictions anymore. Unless you are an executive or game developer at/for Sony, Microsoft, or Nintendo, you really have no credible evidence to prove anything. All three of these companies are going to come out successful to some degree this gen. It's a very balanced group of machines and each one has something unique to offer.
If you're sitting there waiting for the 360 to "die" or for the PS3 to pass it up so that you can declare a victory, then knock yourself out. But at this point in the generation, it's really an exercise in futility.
