To further add to my previous point: I loved IX so much, that I think I'm just still hoping it wasn't a happy accident and they are capable of making another masterpiece like FFIX. XIII is probably the point where I give up for good though.

No but I saw the review scores for the game. The only Bioware game that I have played extensively was Mass Effect and I was disappointed by that game despite the great story

I love you. FFIX was the BEST FF after FFVI. I'm expecting FFXIII to be FFVII in HD but eh.. let's not knot it.
Pixel Art can be fun.
I like IX a little better than VI, but just a little. Both were great. I really miss when Square made nothing but awesome games. I have some minor hope for Versus because TWEWY was great and it's by (mostly) the same team.

I'm sure Versus will be good. Nomura is a very good game deisgner
Bomberman is awesome, I wish Hudson Soft would stop making/allowing shovelware to be released in series.

Eh, but on the other hand I thought KH was mediocre, so I'm pretty conflicted on whether it will be quality or not. We'll see.
The Silent Hill series. Haven't enjoyed it since 2, played them all.
Also, I've played both God of War games, despite hating them.
Next is Madden, I've played 08, and 09. They really aren't that spectacular anymore.
I'll keep playing the Phoenix Wright series, despite the last entry being the worst one(it was still great though).
Ninja Gaiden is also a series that I classify as peaking early.
As for the Final Fantasy series, my favorite is VIII, but I think in general they've gotten better and better since the PS1. Different strokes, I guess. I consider VI the best, if I'm giving props, but honestly I'd rather play any of the PS1 or greater entries. I also think XII is misunderstood by some users, like VIII.
Again, all opinion.
I also think Halo peaked at 1 and Gran Turismo peaked at 3.
...and for the record, didn't like Kingdom Hearts much, but I did like TWEWY.

Suikoden each entry after 2 has been increasingly disappointing. Despite this I buy each new game and collect all 107 stars.
