Forums - General - Need new anime, code geass is over :(

So the only anime I been really watching this year that I have enjoyed just ended today and now in search of a new anime to watch. I am kinda picky at some anime but I enjoy some good action, adventure, comedy, and what not.

Completed List I have seen that I have enjoyed

3x3 Eyes

Banner of the Stars 2,3 (season 2 and 3 of Crest of the Stars)

Bleach (stop with the god damn fillers)

Cowboy Bebop

Code Geass

Crest of the Stars

Death Note (only at first 20 episodes after that lost interest)

Dragon Ball (only original)

Escaflowne

Full Metal Panic! (Edit: I've seen all 3 seasons)

Fullmetal Alchemist

Gundam Wing (watched seed but that was only ok)

Neon Genesis Evangelion

Outlaw Star

Robotech

Trigun

X

Also any Miyazaki Film

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

Seirei No Morbito might be right up your alley.

Gundam 00
GTO
Fullmetal Panic Fomuffu and season 2
xam'd wasn't too bad

if not delve into older stuff, stuff from Leiji Matsumoto is the shiz-nit

I rarely see Escaflowne on the list of completed animes as of late. Good choice.
Anyways, Gungrave, Darker Than Black (this is a wild card), Hellsing, and as akuma said earlier, Elfen Lied is a must.

Bleach the filler will be over in a 2 week period.

trying d-grayman, reborn, nabari no ou (gets annoying though).

tokyo majin gakuen kenpuchio.

xam'd is shaping nicely.

If you liked Crest of Stars, get a fair bit of free time, and can stand ye olde animation (since you watched 3x3 eyes), watch Legend of Galactic Heroes, a 110-episodes OVA based (very faithfully) on an award winning space opera novel.

Edit: I think Crest of the Stars may have been inspired by LoGH (as well as load of other novels and animes)

I am a PC gamer, and also have a NDS now, but without access to a Nintendo Wii until End of 2007.

Currently playing: Super Smash Brothers Brawl(Wii), Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer(DS), Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime (DS), WiiFit(Wii)

Games Recently Beaten: Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King (Normal; Very Hard after the next DLCs become available)

1 word: RTFA

Gundam 00 second season begins next week...
Macross Frontier just finished this week.. you can catch up with that..

And my favourite of the new animes:
Soul Eater

So Elfen Lied I never really got into I tried to watch a few episodes but it felt like I was forcing myself to watch. Same with fruits basket but to be honest never gave the show a chance. Rurouni Kenshin I have watched when I was younger but now being 20 I look back I didn't think it was all that great show. Maybe as a kid I enjoyed but nowadays :P.

@SeriesWB - Might take a look at this

@spdk1 - I tried gunadm 00 again like elfen lied I just didn't get into, also sry i just edited but I have seen all of Full metal panic and what does GTO stand for?

@vlad321 - Yea escalflowne was probably the first anime I ever watched as a kid so its on my list :D, but anywho I forgot about Gungrave watched a couple years back and it was entertaining but something that I wouldn't say I would like. I never gave darker then black or hellsing a try I always see it but we shall see.

@jo21 - thanks for the great news on the fillers I haven't seen a bleach episode since the fillers started months back. i'll have to take a look at some of ur suggestions (my 10 mins in the morning before class :P)

@takkxyz - I'll have to take a look and see ont hat one.

@NikkoM - Again from above wasn't a fan of Gundam 00, but Macross frontier never heard of and I forgot but I remember someone posting on here before about soul eater gotta take a look l8r.

Thanks all who replied :D

GTO = Great Teacher Onizuka, one of the best comedy animes out there
