Who cares how the textures look, really?

I do recall reading a WHOLE LOT of members discussing the textures... And your "point" with the Doom picture was absolutely pointless.

I think the game looks great. But I do play games like Dwarf Fortress... so I am not so sure about my taste.

Wow those graphics on all those screens seem terrible, like an XBOX game.

Wow

or a PS2 game... anyway graphics doesn't matters for my part. Gameplay is more important and to be honest those graphics looks good.

I agree, and the Conduit is all about gameplay, should be one of the best games on the wii this year.

I think the game looks great, and will be even better when I'm ACTUALLY playing it. Hate it if you want, but the controls will be good. I stopped listening to people and their elitisi views on graphics after playing NMH...and GTA4

The Conduit isn't polished while MP3 and TP are. It's not that the textures are bad its just its full of jaggies which should be erased by the time the full product comes out. I mean I dont' think its the textures. For Wii its pretty good like TP and MP3. Just needs the finishing touches to smooth it out. Usually something that comes later on. not to mention most games look better in motion unless of course the screens aren't from the game engine but from CG.

Either way I think the game is shaping up but like most needs the finishing polishes.

this game rocks, and it's graphics do so!!

it may not be exactly Xbox360/Ps3 but it's close (not the screens, the game in motion)

personally, i think, as long as Wii can produce MP3/Mario Galaxy graphics there should be no complaining about graphics!!

if you use the component Wii cables on HDTV you'll notice that those two games have graphics much closer to Ps3/Xbox360 than Ps2!!

Conduit will sell a lot!! over 1 million for sure!

Were these the same members that discounted graphics whenever a game didn't have them at high quality? I'm curious. And I wasn't trying to make a point with the Doom picture comparison. It was just one of my favorite shooters and I didn't want to seem overly aggressive with my post. Lighten up.

The only thing I care about when it comes to graphics for the game is that enemies can be clearly seen, the lighting effects are good, and there are nice levels and environments for online matches. That's it. I'm not describing anyone in specific, but if someone feels the need to use The Conduit in their quest to prove that the Wii can produce quality graphics, their savior came out in 2007. I've never seen any Wii game have such a focus on graphics up to this point and it baffles me.

Suddenly all Wii owners care about grafix how ironic. All the textures seem pretty subpar to me but The ones in the Conduit look a bit better

Actually, it appears that the primary console of most of those making negative comments is not the Wii.

And as I have said before, it will all come down to game play.  The graphics are not going to detract from the game play -- so if it plays well, it will be a good game. If it does not play well, I won't buy it.

Montana- only thing I care about with graphics is that its polished and smooth. Meaning jaggies is an issue with me. That's my issue with this game here. It needs the polish of SMG or hell even de Blob which has excellent polish. Not only one of the best on Wii but this generation.

Games have so many different styles in graphics that simply judging them on realism of it is unfair. Which is why I judge on polish of that certain style. This game is trying to look as realistic as it can on Wii and I give it that but it needs the finishing touches. The character models have gotten it so I'm sure the environments will get it as well.

I never put too much into graphics because it really doesn't matter all that much. As long as its smooth and captures the atmosphere of the game its good.

I agree with Okey - The environmental textures look kinda dull, Ive seen better environment textures in Metroid Prime 3. I know it can be done.

That said, everything else looks good, and it slightly reminds me of TimeSplitters, and that's my fav FPS series ever, so I'll get this game and live with the textures, though hopefully they'll improve =) When is this game releasing again?
