The guns stick out like a gangrenous sore thumb. They really need to make them look a bit better before release. It bothers me how ugly they are in comparison to everything else.

The environments look very bland in The Conduit when compared to MP and Zelda.

The MP3 pictures look pretty horrible; they look much better than that.
Okami
To lavish praise upon this title, the assumption of a common plateau between player and game must be made. I won't open my unworthy mouth.
To be honest. I'm kind of, less convinced now.
But was it really necessary to compare screens to Twilight Princess? I really don't believe it looks better than the GC version, but if it is then its hardly noticeable. TP is not gonna look better than The Conduit, but if it does then I'd be worried.

Clearly, The Conduit has amazing textures and graphics. What's that, you say? It's unfair to compare a 15 year old game with one that won't be coming out for months? I agree! Hey, it's only fair that we compare The Conduit to the fellow games on the system! So why not pick a shooter title that didn't even pride itself on its graphics in the first place? Or maybe you could pick a launch title (because we all know that launch titles have amazing graphics). Or we can ignore the fact that the majority of graphically impressive Wii games look poor in screenshots (remember the shots for Super Mario Galaxy?) and just focus more on the gameplay which is supposed to be the saving grace for what looks like an otherwise cliched game. The story looks very boring (not that shooters ever have good stories anyways). Not only that, but there are a bajillion shooters on the market with better graphics, and The Conduit doesn't even have a beautiful or interesting style to make up for it. A lot of Wii games manage to look good because they have beautiful or engaging environments to make up for the lack of graphical muscle. The Conduit has none of this.
I'm sure it will be a fun game and it will be a definite purchase for me, but let's just not argue about the graphics. Who cares how the textures look, really?

I think you just proved the power of art direction over graphical capability. It is clear in these screenshots that The Conduit is "technically" better graphically, higher res textures, various texture effects, etc. But the games that look worse look more amazing...wait what did i just say? You can have a CGI render of that same museum in The Conduit meant for the movies, and i would still stay Mp:3 looks better, a museum is just a museum no matter how many polygons and high res textures you throw at it. The Conduit suffers from bland locations not graphics, I'm just hoping they have some sort of alien level towards the end of the game where you go on a monthership for the invading enemies and you have to take it down.

or a PS2 game... anyway graphics doesn't matters for my part. Gameplay is more important and to be honest those graphics looks good.

Oh, trust me, I've already stated in my comparison that screenshots are really not the best thing to go with, especially for Wii games. I'm confident that The Conduit can match the level of gameplay of MP3:C and all other Wii games that use the motion feature in a very intuitive way, so yeah, they can't fail at that.
What you did with that Doom shot is pointless since no one ever thought about comparing The Conduit with this game. I've only compared it with these two games (MP3:C and TP) because people in the past few months have been comparing them with The Conduit. You to try to convince me that the comparison you made with a 15 year old game just to praise The Conduit tells me that you agree that the graphics in MP3:C and TP are outdated. Please note it was not my intention to bring down the artistic view of these two ''launch'' (MP3:C isn't really a lauch game, but whatever) games.
By the way, why can't a ''realistical'' looking game on the Wii succeed in many ways? Why can't High Voltage software try to create something that mixes both artistic (alien weapons, alien environments) and realistic (buildings, , locations, weapons) style of graphics? I don't get why you try to make it sound so bad to break down the wall that the developers can't compete with other console shooters on the market. And who cares about how the textures look? You haven't taken a look at the various news posts here at VG Chartz recently it seems...! o_O
Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...
