Forums - General - do u like sitcoms?

Not really with the exception of a few like Seinfeld. Frasier was pretty good too, as was Will and Grace and Just Shoot Me.

Arrested Development is awesome, but I don't really consider that a sitcom. If a show has a laugh track, I consider it a sitcom.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. 90s were the golden years for sitcoms, imo
My favorites would be Frasier, Seinfeld and Friends in that order, followed by everybody loves Raymond and The Drew Carey Show.
Arrested Development is the best, but definitely not a sitcom

"The accumulated filth of all their sex and murders will foam up about their waist and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"...

....and I'll look down and whisper  "no."

Seinfeld was my favourite.

I could tell you my least favourite also: According to Jim

I watch them every night on Nick at Nite

Only Fools and Horses/Fawlty Towers ftw.

You yanks wouldn't know sitcoms if they bit you on the arse.

Seinfeld, The Office and Scrubs.

So yes, I do like situational Comedies.

The Office and Scrubs are not really sitcoms...The Office is more of a mockumentary and Scrubs is more of a hospital-spoof show. Technically they are "situational comedies," but they aren't really "sitcoms."

MGS4 is the greatest game ever

Frasier, Seinfeld and of course Friends are really the only ones I like... Most new ones are terrible IMO, unless Scrubs counts
