I just downloaded megaman 9 and im very impressed with the game, when i started the game i nearly cried because of the beautiiful intro, the music used in these megaman games are epic.  I must say im pleasantly surprised that the game is quite difficult, i was expecting it to be a bit easy but its quite a challenge.

Capcom should bring all the megaman games on the psn store, I have still got megaman 2 on the nes but im never able to complete it. The nes system has a very short life loll

The success of megaman 9 could potentially see more nes/snes etc. classics on the psn/xbl store!

Naturally, no Nintendo made game will ever appear on XLA or PSN, but classic games from 3rd parties might see a revival.

I love Megaman 9. It is difficult but not extraordinary difficult for the series or the era of games it harkens back to.

The music is also on par with Megaman 2 in my opinion, which is to say amazing in its own right, without even speaking of the fact its only 2 square waves, a Triangle wave, and a noise channel...

i ininstalled it, just after the 1st jumping section where that green thingy comes out shooting at you. im glad you like it as many others will but at £6.99 its to expensive for what it is

Mega Man 9 is amazing, but in my opinion it's too difficult for Mega Man standards. I've never seen as much cheap ass kills as in this game, god spikes are everywhere this time around it's not even funny! xD

Actually, I say that, but once I'll complete the game over 5 times already (2 now), it's going to be a cakewalk (like it should always be). ;)

actually...i dont really see what nintendo would have to lose by releasing some of the classic NES/SNES games on the other Stores. They arent really things that would draw people towards a Wii...and not like they would detract from system sales of the NES or SNES. in fact, its rather cheap marketing.

Actually Nintendo's games are made for Nintendo's platforms, it's like saying (Why doesn't Sony put Shadow of Collosus on the Wii, or Microsoft put Halo 2 on a Nintendo platform.) It would hurt because software sells hardware, and if you could eventually get that software else where, then the only people wining are those making software.

In the first parties case and especially Nintendo's case, the loss in sales to hardware due to the above logic would hurt much more in the long run. The product they are trying to sell isn't just the software it's the hardware.

Think along the lines of how people these days wait for Greatest Hit status or used games before they make a purchase. The logic would become, "Why waste another $250 when Virtual Console titles will appear on XBLA."
