Seriously, ckmlb, you're going crazy.

First off, this thread was stupid to begin with...just Celb trying to say there's no 3rd party support for the Wii.

People have posted the list of Wii exclusives, and you're trying to prove that the 360/PS3/PC combined list is better. At least separate the 360 list, the PS3 list, and the PC list...you can't compare 1 console to 3.

Wow.... is it so difficult to understand? So I can only list exclusive games as proof of support? If that is the case then this debate is a joke because you are holding on to a long list of exclusive Wii budget titles as huge 3rd party support. If you think that way then I can't convince you at all because you are blind.

I'm the one going crazy or is it the people saying Jenga and My Word Coach are signs of great 3rd party support that are blinded by Wii love?

Ok. So the problem with Wii is the lack of 3rd party support NOW, but for the "anti Wii entity" (bodhesatva, 2007) you are allowed to list games in development coming late 2008 and even early 2009. Keep up this and you may lose the respect you earned from some users.

The discussion was about games announced recently from 3rd parties. What does the date of release have to do with it?

I dunno. it sounds strange that a hardcore gamer like you can not wait until december for Brawl, Prime 3 and Galaxy, but may wait until 2009 for real game on the PC/360/PS3 (that you may not even play).

And stop posting crap about "minigames"

Ok, so there are a lot of party games...that does not make them invalid games...and it certainly won't prevent them from selling well.

I can't wait to play Raving Rabbids 2, and Mario and Sonic will probably be good...I don't care if they're "minigames."

Saying the Wii list isn't as solid is a crap point...there's plenty of games on the PS3/360 that don't interest me at all. You could give me Splinter Cell, Saints Row, Naruto, and others on that list and I probably would not play them...

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Geometry Wars Galaxies is also a much bigger game, and is a sequel, not a port. Kick and scream all you want, Ck. "I don't like those games! They stink! The 360/PS3 games are good!" Call me stupid if you want, too. I don't care about almost any of the games you mentioned for the 360/PS3, either. So thrash and scream to your hearts content -- since April, the Wii has seen more games announced exclusively for it than the 360 and PS3 have seen combined.

"I don't care about those games, so they don't count!" is quite silly, but if that's your only defense, fine.

So you are going to buy Jenga and My Word Coach? So the 3rd party titles that made the PS2 the dominant console last generation were these budget titles?

Enjoy those great games then since you seem to love them so much. And I don't care how much you dress up Geometry Wars it is an Xbox Live game with more content being sold as a full game. From 2 dollars to 50 dollars I don't think you're getting your money's worth.

It might be horrible third-party support, but it's still more support in terms of quantity.

All right there's no point in arguing with people who want quantity over quality.

I'm sure you will all enjoy Playground and Carnival Games since you are championing them.

You don't see me going around trying to tell people how great some crappy low budget title is on the PS3 or 360 but you guys seem to defend every single game no matter how small or unimportant it is because you are Wii fanboys.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

The reason this argument will go no where and has gone no where fast is because of the choice wording. Good 3rd party support is a matter of taste. There's no denying that 3rd party support is there for all platforms, including the Wii. Determining whether it is good or worth your money is a whole other issue based on opinions alone.

Just as a note: The Wii is already now seeing more exclusive quality 3rd party support than the last two Nintendo consoles had and it only seems to get better in the future considering the sales of the Wii. An improvement over the past decade can already be seen in the current 3rd party support. 3rd parties are finally coming back to Nintendo and some of them are already working on serious projects and not just minigames collections and cash ins.

I didn't say it isn't. The Wii is definitely doing a lot better in 3rd parties than the last two Nintendo consoles this early in the console's life.

I'm sure some 3rd parties will make great games like No More Heroes or Zack and Wiki but the rest are seeing the Wii as the budget console for cheap cash in games so far.

That might change in the future but I see the big corporations as trying to make the cheapest possible game to try and make the most money off of it.

This is a debate about how much third-party support the Wii is getting compared to the 360/PS3/PC. Not the quality of the titles coming out for them. We (at least, I do) know that most of the titles coming out for the 360/PS3/PC have far better quality, but this isn't about that.

And no, they can be multiplatform games...but you're grouping three systems together in one list...those one or two 360 exclusives either shouldn't be in there, or they should be in a separate 360 list...

It'd be best to post a PS3 list with its exclusive 3rd party games along with its share of multiplatforms, and then the 360 list with its exclusive 3rd party games, along with its 3rd party multiplatforms.

That's the best way to compare them...unless there aren't many 3rd party exclusives for the other platforms?
