Oh, and Rygar is not a port of the PS2 game, it's a sequel. Maybe you are the one who should get your facts straight.

Really? Maybe you shoud have checked your facts. Here's the link, enjoy:

http://wii.ign.com/articles/803/803338p1.html

July 11, 2007 - Tecmo shocked everyone back in May with the announcement that Rygar would be coming to the Wii. Well, here's what was left out of that announcement. Project Rygar is, according to the latest issue of Famitsu, just an updated version of the PlayStation 2 Rygar game.

Of course, Tecmo is adding some updates to the game. Famitsu provides a first look at the new Muscle Mode, which appears to be a battle mode that makes use of the Wiimote for direct controls. You have access to three special moves, achieved by swinging the Wiimote in different ways.

Outside of this new mode, the game will also see a redesigned main character, redesigned enemies, new monsters and new enemy positions. It's unclear if the main story mode will make use of direct controls, but hopefully Tecmo will be able to provide some clarification at E3.

I made a thread about this even in the Nintendo forum maybe you should have checked.

I appologize, I hadn't seen this.  You are correct.

@ckmlb,

I would like you to respond to my post, since you seem to have time to argue with a lot of, IMO, senseless posts.

@naznatips,

ckmlb is right about that. I remember reading that same article.
It is around the bottom of page 2, if you can't find it.

And please, stop with the Martyr stuff. I have a great relationship with Vizunary. I really liked Legend. I think Rocketpig is great. I like Windbane. I think Mrstickball is great. The problem isn't that I criticize everyone who dislikes the Wii: the problem is you. I don't know where your bitterness comes from, Ck, but you've been a good poster in the past, and I really wish you'd return to that.

Step 1: stop telling us that all the Wii games are stupid and meaningless. If you don't like them, fine. Just stop telling us all they're crap, because many of us don't agree.

 /agree on  both points.

 There are several posts and points I would like him to respond to, but then I guess it makes sense that he doesn't since there's no logical response.

God damn, this thread has gotten out of hand.

ckmlb, it's obvious that you prefer the games heading toward the PS3 and that's fine. What's not fine is that you would go out of your way to prove to other people that they as well should be interested in these games as they are better than whatever Nintendo can throw on the Wii.

Remember that there are as many tastes for gaming genres as many there are people. It's kind of egocentric to think that your taste for games should speak for all.

Deep into the darkness pearing

Long i stood there

Wondering

Fearing

Doubting.

@twestern,

But has he responded to ANYTHING you have said? Only lilblue seemed to notice my post.

"But there seems to be a campaign here that whoever criticizes the Wii, its 3rd party support or the direction of Nintendo is a fanboy and should be deligitimized."

Go ahead and criticize the Wii's selection of games...that's fine.

What's NOT fine is forcing your opinion on others by CONTINUALLY stating that the 3rd party game list is insufficient. You say it has some good games but lots of crap too. I bet a lot of people agree with you...but there ARE people buying these casual games...believe it or not, a lot of such games are actually fun. It's annoying to keep saying the Wii's list of games is worse than the PS3/360 just because half the games are "Jenga." Lots of people would rather play Jenga than Splinter Cell...your opinion, as well as others here, don't matter in this debate...we're simply talking straight up how many games for each console.

So I don't have a right as someone who owns a Wii or actually as someone discussing video games on a video game forum to aks the question: where is the 3rd party support?

I think I have the right to bring it up as many times as I want even if you or many others disagree with me. This is a forum to discuss stuff if topics are going to be made off limites to satisfy the needs of certain Wii fanboys then what's the point of a forum?

I'm sure there are people who'd rather play Jenga than Splinter Cell as there are people who'd rather listen to 50 Cent than something else, does that make his music great?

And don't tell me this is all subjective because everything is subjective and that is the point of debate.

Of course you can ask the question.  I don't see why you bother asking the question when you won't accept the answer.  I'm very aware there are Wii games you look forward to, and you have the right to dislike some Wii games, but STOP GENERALIZING THEM AS CRAP.   Say "I don't want party games" not "party games suck and everything the PS360 (as these seem to be 1 system now) has is better."  Generalizations are not something that should be made based on opinions.  Opinions are seperate from facts, yet you constantly blur the line between the two with your statements.

 You totally missed what I said.

I hate rap music...but I'm not going to denounce it as an art form...and neither should you.

"Where is the 3rd party support?"  That's what this thread is about!  Look at the list!  There is the support!  It's not the greatest, most amazing game list in the WORLD EVER...but neither is the 360/PS3 list...I don't understand why you can't read the list of games, and say, "oh, there's the 3rd party games!  I must not have seen them before!"  For the most part, I'm not interested in the majority of games in the 360/PS3 list, and to be honest, I'm not interested in most of the Wii list either.  It's the few games in both lists that interest me...those are the games that matter.

Just play No More Heroes and be happy, sheesh.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

I'm not bitter about anything. I'm a Wii owner and I'm discussing 3rd party games on the Wii.

Good poster in the past? Well I'm sorry you feel that way but just cause I disagree with you and have a pretty good argument that a lot of people would agree to as far as the quality of 3rd party games on Wii goes.

@Wotjas

My gaming tastes are very varied I like everything from FPS to RPG to RTS to Fighting games to some sports game to puzzle games to adventure games to action games to platformers to rythm games.

I just don't like the party game genre or the mini game collection genre. Aside from that I don't like low caliber games be they FPS or RPG or any type.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

==> OK, Wii possess more third party games and they are exclusive to Wii (opposed to Xbox360/PS3)
but who cares of these wii games, right now ?
Third party devellopper most wanted games :

Assassin creed / soul calibur 4 / resident evil 5 / CoD4/ UT3/ GTA4 / PEs2008
nothing on the Wii

I may have forget some game but sincerely, we all know that FOR THE MOMENT
tihrd party games for Wii are absolutely NOT the most anticipated games that are coming to be released. None of these third party game are RIGHT NOW a most wanted games, even for some Wii owners big Nintendo fan.

Time to Work !

The Wii is getting better quantity support. The 360/PS3 are getting better quality support. Happy now?
