What did Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn provide new to the Wii experience? Tell me, because if I wanted to, I could just simply plug a GameCube controller and it would feel the exact same thing as its predecessor. And before anyone replies with anything to say about Brawl, Brawl at least introduced Wi-Fi with many other features (many other controller options as well), and also, let's not forget it is a system seller (I don't need to tell you how it got that title).

Also, if you actually played Excite Truck, you'd know the gameplay at least revolves around the Wiimote. See it as fail or not, it was at least a totally new experience and it can be enjoyable once you get the hang of it. About Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, as you can see, the list not only revolves around the casual players. Don't play that card.

So, to summarize it all, if it wasn't revolutionary and didn't really stand out compared to many other games on various platforms, it isn't on the list. Simple as that. It's just a list to show other ''hardcore'' players that there are good games that can use the new Wii remote features in a good way, not just waggle stuff and all.

I own these games -- 13 of the 20 they recommend.  But I also own a pile of other games they don't recommend and some of them get a ton of playtime.

Although our Xbox 360 has completely taken a back seat to the Wii lately -- even more than usual -- because we have had company over a lot (hardcore gamers, mostly) and they love playing Brawl and Rayman.  Especially Brawl.  Brawl is the best hardcore game released this year, no question.

well, it's 1.5 million with Xbox and Wii version combined , and it's only America, for god's sake, if these sales are bad, it means almost all of the Ps3 games are selling bad!

also, IGN gave a great score, about 8.5 or something....

it can no way compete half of the 2O games but it's still a good game!

Excite Truck is actually a really good game, it just doesn't have as much content as it should or have online.  I still play it to this day because it's just a fun game I can pick up and play for 10-15 minutes every now and then.  If they made an Excite Truck 2 with more content and an online mode it would be an incredibly game.
