Rubang, what chat are you talking about? It's pretty difficult to flip between arguing with my mother over the phone, Vgchartz, food, and the debate all at the same time.

Yes, Obama has a good skill of talking for hours and saying absolutely nothing (moreso than other politicians anyway haha).

Even at this point I have no clue what he is talking about, he's flip flopping on issues  and sounding very intimidated by McCain, McCain is actually stating what he is going to do and answering the questions thoroughly.

Just because you agree with Obama wins does not mean he is winning the debate, If you were to grade debates based on what you like to hear, then of course your favorite will always be the winner in your eyes. In terms of actually answering the questions and telling the people how he plans to tackle the current problems, it's no contest, McCain wins.

wow McCain seems like such an a-hole

I admit McCain was winning in the first so many minutes. When the issue switched to foreign policy, however, Obama won that area.

Just because you agree with McCain does not mean he is winning the debate. etc,

But you're right, McCain does answer the questions thoroughly, so much so that he answers some of them 2 or 3 times, mispronouncing things all along the way.

yeah, i agree.  it's funny to me since obama is suppose to be better at economic issues and mccain stronger on foreign policy.

overall it was pretty even.  i'm just happy they actually debated issues unlike many of the obama/hilary debates that was entirely focused on bs gaffes.  ./cheer for pbs.

I knew Obama was going to win the foreign policy debate. I do not agree with him on all issues related to foreign policy, but the direction he would take our foreign policy is not horrible.

Obama seemed to be doing a lot of interrupting(and seemed quote agitated at times{especially when compared to the perception of Mccain's temper}) and I found Obama calling Mccain by his first name annoying.

Other than that, typical debate with typical outcome of 50/50.
