I admit McCain was winning in the first so many minutes. When the issue switched to foreign policy, however, Obama won that area.  

 

yeah, i agree.  it's funny to me since obama is suppose to be better at economic issues and mccain stronger on foreign policy. 

overall it was pretty even.  i'm just happy they actually debated issues unlike many of the obama/hilary debates that was entirely focused on bs gaffes.  ./cheer for pbs.

I knew Obama was going to win the foreign policy debate. I do not agree with him on all issues related to foreign policy, but the direction he would take our foreign policy is not horrible.
