Capcom does it again :)

According to http://www.playmotogp.com/ the official webpage for the game, Wii is not getting online races.

There's no excuses for this one, as Mario Kart has a GREAT online mode, Capcom was just lazy IMO, seeing as this is a port of the PS2 game. PS3, 360 and PC are getting the best version while Wii is getting the port of the PS2 game without online and who knows what else will be cut out.

This is a pity, laziness is what's making the Wii look inferior.

Shocking, 3rd parties are really spitting on Nintendo, especially with the multiplats lately! I thought Capcom were the proponents for better 3rd party games on the Wii, or is that faze over?

I don't think this will make a big splash. How many people even care about this game world wide?

Capcom probably thought that the effort to add it to the game was not worth the gain it would bring them, and in this case, i agree.

It's a shame really, but mummelman is right, some third party devs are spitting on the Wii.

Multiplat versions are always (mostly) gimped. This is the first multiplat retail game from Capcom and it's a gimped experience for the Wii. If they hold true to their future "all games will be multiplat" strategy, then people will do better avoiding Wii versions of Capcom's games for their own sake.

 Really seems to vary depending on the dev team. Nobody is going to call Monster Hunter 3 a lazy cash-in. It's like Capcom doesn't have much of a central direction, and they just assign priorities on an ad hoc basis.
