Who's the most underrated Sonic character?

Tikal served her purpose. She was never meant to be more than what she was and she was even added as a multiplayer character to Sonic Adventure 2: Battle for some reason I still don't fully understand. In my opinion, Big the Cat is far more underrated. He's an entertaining character that offers a great opportunity for diverse gameplay and/or a fun minigame, but is only occasionally used in the games. Unfortunately, many fans seem to baselessly hate him simply because they didn't like (or weren't any good at) fishing in Sonic Adventure or hate him because he is simpleminded while passing that off as being retarded.

there should be 3 characters - sonic knux and tails. that's it

whatever her name is from sonic rush adventure sucks
silver the hedgehog sucks

all these (playable) characters are fucking atrocious

Just give me the 3 characters from the genesis games, and we are good to go

 I actually liked Blaze.. the others can go imo.

@Seihyouken Tikal and Chaos are fairly linked to the chaos emeralds and master emerald so it makes sense to me for them to be playable in the hunting mode.  Also I like Big the Cat alot, it's just that I found him a bit annoying in Sonic Heroes, voice acting wise.  I think that's what made him go down a few pegs below Tikal.

The poor echidna was replaced as Sonic's true rival by some angst-ridden, gun wielding hedgehog, and then somehow forced to partake in yawn inducing treasure hunts.

Fortunately, I'm gonna make sure that he's a permanent member of my party in Sonic Chronicles.
