Forums - Nintendo - de Blob - Great reviews but are you buying it?

got it since day 1 and im having a blast.

i enjoyed most of the level design. Hanging Gardens looks beautiful once you paint everything. Chrome Dam is one of the best levels. I like the Music in this game especialy "Blissful" & "Eurphoria" .

the enemies are fun to stomp on. Inkys will get tougher to beat when you progress thru the game. Inkys will start to wear colored armor, and attack more often unless you beat a specfic challenge.

time limit actually stops when your in first person view this is good if your trying to beat a challenge mission. Also its best if you have around 15% or 25%
of color, so you can move faster and jump higher.

De Blob FTW!!!

Damn, you just convinced me to buy it

Just got it this morning, used for $28 (all prices Canadian). As much as I wanted it, I wasn't prepared to pay $50. Same situation with Boom Blox. If it comes down in price or I find it used, it's mine.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

I played this game at a friends house. Very fun and i'd buy it if i owned a wii. This is the sort of original nifty game that I really enjoy.

I'll probably get it tomorrow, actually.
So, yes.

Definitely, waiting on Disaster so maybe in a few weeks.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

I think it looks like a game for a child only. I am not interested.

De Blob is a child games as much as Mario Galaxy is. Childs can enjoy it, but adults too. It's a videogame ...

I already bought it. And it is really great (I played four worlds until now)

I bought Wario Land too, but did not played it because I like de Blob so much :)

Hopefully I will get it in the next month or two, but I have few major expenses coming up so I need to restrict the amount of money I spend on gaming for awhile.

still considering it.. i guess i should watch a few reviews to see what the game actually offers, because from what i've seen so far, while looking incredibly polished (and that alone was the cause of my original and current interest in the title), i haven't seen any game modes other than painting buildings in under a certain time limit.. so yeh.. hopefully i see different once i watch a few reviews, which i'll be watching ...... right..... now

EDIT: looks pretty good, still not sure if i want to pay $64 for it (cheapest i can find it here, and that will be the cheapest it is for a couple of months)

I ordered it online, so I'll probably have to wait a few days before it will get here. I really like the relatively cheap English pound making importing from the UK a good option at the moment.
