Just finished my first WU from my laptop. Dunno if it uploaded correctly, as after it was supposed to get the next one started it crashed and I had to restart. Says I've got 1 though.

How long one WU takes on a PC? On PS3 you have to "sacrafice" 8 hours.
I got fed up with folding at home with my PC after 48 hours. Then I started using boinc and liked that program better.

Indeed. Sounds like PC. Believe or not I sleep in same room it works.

The 5000-frame p3040-supervillin-03 on GROMACS core took my (active) laptop approximately 48 hours. Each frame took about 34s on average. I haven't gone through and "optimized" the output settings to increase productivity or anything, pretty much working off defaults at the moment.

The PS3 does 3-5 frames per second on average. And a 500,000 (I think) frame workunit takes about 8 hours.
