I would say that the limited nature of the English language made that quote. Just denotes that the time of Wait is small, and Until denotes that one could stop waiting once the second half arrived.

it is one of the greatest mysteries, scientists are working on this as i post, their latest findings show that it came from mothers, it used to be "just wait until your dad comes" followed by 100 lashings by the father of course, fanboys just changed it, because when that game comes someone is gonna get lashings.
